The contact network disconnecting switch monitoring system is used to realize remote monitoring of the contact network disconnecting switches distributed along the railway line by the traction power supply dispatching center. It establishes monitoring, measuring and control links between the traction power supply dispatching center and the contact network disconnecting switches through automation control technology, communication technology and tele-motion technology to realize the monitoring, control and management functions of the dispatching center on the contact network disconnecting switches. The contact network disconnect switch monitoring system can be divided into direct-drive and fiber-optic types.
